On Saturday, competitors gathered for the kick-off of the 2018-2019 Summer Wavesailing Series.
Around 10, competitors arrived at the northern side of Flat Rock to be greeted by a new tent, new t-shirts, and some fun waves.
Whilst there was no wind, competitors took advantage of the good conditions to enjoy a SUP or a surf.
Later that day, head judge Dean Hendrie gave competitors a hands-on demonstration of the electronic judging system, which generated a great deal of excitement.
That evening, competitors enjoyed a steak meal and some drinks provided by the association.
The forecast for the coming days looks good, with a solid southerly expected.
The next briefing is 2pm Sunday, with a first possible start at 2.30pm.
