In less than three days NSWWA members, friends and family will be heading up to the excellent town of Woolgoolga!
For competitors, please head to the event site for sign on between 9am and 10am.
At this early stage it looks like we may try to run a comp Saturday afternoon with the forecast of 10knots+ from the north. A northerly windflow as opposed to a northeast will allow for far better DTL conditions. As a reminder the event site for a north/northeast wind is at the end of Hearnes Lake Road. NSWWA will always aim for a result on a weekend – meaning we will aim to run a competition as soon it is sailable (as opposed to waiting for the chance of more wind on the next day).
The forecast for Sunday/Monday is very similar to the epic event we had two years ago – so fingers crossed we should get some sailing in!
The Seaview Tavern has been booked for Sunday night – more details to follow RE a more impromptu event on Saturday. We’ll also be selling the hoodies at the beach/Tavern so bring some cash!
If you are driving up Saturday morning and it looks like you won’t be able to make it to sign on before 10am, please let us know via text/phone call so we can include you in the draw.
