We’re heading up to Budgewoi on the Central Coast, with [lake / flat-water spot] right there for kids and beginners to learn to windsurf.
The basics
When: Saturday 12 – Sunday 13 December 2026
Where: Budgewoi, Central Coast NSW
Stay: NRMA Budgewoi Holiday Park, 2A Weemala Street, Budgewoi. On the shores of Lake Munmorah, about 90 minutes from Sydney and walking distance to Budgewoi Beach and the village. We’ve negotiated a discounted rate for NSWWA.
On the water
- Lessons for kids and beginners
- A wave rally, conditions allowing
- An expression session with a final. No double elimination, just a one-off event.
- A jet ski on hand
Off the water
We’re all in the park together. There’s a jumping pillow and a pool for the kids, plus a camp kitchen and BBQ areas so we can all eat together at night.
