Ladies and gents,
We have already sailed some good NE’rs and some big surf with the southerlies in the last week so hopefully you have had some practice on both tacks. As you would know some of our competitors are heading to this event off the back of doing very well at the Nationals, especially Zac, Juniors Champ, who is surely ready for the Ams?!
We are trying out a new location/region for this event as we would like to see more Newcastle/Central Coast competitors and we all like to sail new places!
If we have NE winds then sign-on will be next to the North Entrance Surf Life Saving Club, on Hutton Road. The Judges will then select an exact location along the beach based on the conditions. The surf club is just over the bridge north from The Entrance township.
If we have a southerly we will base the competition at Toowoon Bay off Bay Road. We assume due to parking that sign on will be in the upper carpark – however, it will be easy to work out when you get there!
Location of the social will be displayed on the whiteboard. There are lots of accomodation options, but a few are camping at Toowoon Bay Holiday Park.
We’re all really looking forward to running this competition in the Central Coast!
