Hugely popular in 2019, the East Coast Titles are back for 2020.
With the unfortunate cancellation of the 2020 Merimbula Classic, this will be THE event to be at in November 2020. After receiving feedback from many sailors, the NSWWA has decided to include the East Coast Titles in the points race for the Summer Wavesailing Series championship. The inclusion of a fifth event into the Summer Wavesailing Series means that competitors can now drop their worst result from their end-of-season result.Introducing: The Social Session New for 2020/21, we will be dedicating the first hour of every event to what we are calling a ‘social session’. This will be a low-pressure, fun-focused, unstructured sailing session where all levels of sailors can enjoy the water. We understand heats aren’t for everyone, so this provides a great alternative for those who still want to be a part of our events, and maybe be involved in judging, but don’t want to sail in heats. They’re also a great start to the day for those who are into heats. Prizes will be given targeting new, intermediate and exciting wavesailors.
Pre-registration for 2020-21 To limit the Covid risk from morning registrations and to maximise time in the water, we will be asking members to ensure they register for each event by the Friday night before by purchasing an event entry (season members will be given a coupon code that gives them free entry into the weekend events and half-price entry into the East Coast Titles.
