Exciting news for all wave sailing enthusiasts! The 2025/2026 wave sailing season is officially open, and we are thrilled to announce that membership registrations are now available online through our official website.
This year’s calendar is packed with a mix of classic events and exciting new additions catering to all skill levels. From social gatherings and development camps to the thrill of a new storm chase event, there’s something for everyone.
This Season’s Main Events
- 8th – 9th November 2025: Wanda Wave Weekend Join us at Wanda Beach for our first major gathering of the season. A perfect time to catch up, hit the water, and kick things off in style.
- 29th – 30th November 2025: Merimbula Waves We’re heading south! This year we’ll be in Merimbula at the same time as the legendary Merimbula Classic, making for a fantastic weekend of waves, wind, and community.
- 26th – 30th January 2026: Development Camp (Gerroa/Sanctuary Point) Held within this five-day window, this camp is aimed at nurturing our next generation of sailors. It’s perfect for kids, beginners, and intermediates looking to improve their skills with expert guidance.
- 7th – 8th February 2026: East Coast Titles (Gerroa) The premier wave sailing competition on the East Coast is back at the iconic Gerroa Beach. Come to compete or to watch the best in action! (Backup dates: 21st – 22nd February 2026)
- NEW! Gerroa Storm Chase Get ready for adrenaline! This is a waiting game for those truly epic days. When the forecast aligns for the biggest and best conditions, the call will be made for an unforgettable session. Event Window: 14th September 2025 to 31st March 2026.
