NSW Wavesailing Association 2023-24

It’s time to invest in a Season of sun, waves, wind and partying with like minded windsurfing and wavesailing fanatics. We continue to provide a series catering to all levels of windsurfing and wavesailing including beginners, those just starting in the waves and experts to boot.  

So there will be 3 NSWWA events in 2023-24 and we are keen to promote the Merimbula Classic and Oceania Youth event too:

30 Sep- 2 Oct 2023 – SURFFX Woopi Wave Classic – Woolgoolga – beginner and intermediate lessons.  Expression session with 4 person division finals. (PWA/IWT 2 star event).

11-19 Nov 2023 – Severne Australian Wavesailing Championships at Sydney (Wanda) or Gerroa/Windang/Shoalhaven Heads (location selected based on conditions.  (PWA/IWT 2 star event).

22-26 Nov 2023 – Merimbula Classic (does not count to NSWWA series and well worth entering for a crazy FUN long weekend)

13 Jan – 28 Feb 2024 – North Windsurfing East Coast Wavesailing Titles – the event window is 6 weeks allowing us to select the best location and dates giving 1 weeks notice. (PWA/IWT 2 star event). 

NSWWA 2023-24 series divisions are:

• Amateurs
• Opens
• Masters 45+
• Grand masters 55+
• Juniors <20 years
• Women
• Social/beginner/party riders
