With the NSWWA’s new format, our events are fun for all ages. Teoh is more than welcome to attended our comps (as long as he stays safe in the water).

Simple Infos … I’m looking to plan a trip to Sydney and looking to scores some wavesailing… Does October and November could deliver good conditions? If not should we look more for January and Feb?

Hi Ppjutras, you should get good condition from October, right through to March. You are likely to get a bit more wind in the middle of this period, but the swell may also be a little smaller at some spots. Take a look at our ‘Spot Guide’ (link at top of page) for some more info about wavesailing in Sydney.

Probably seems a silly question to you guys whom know the area well!
My son and I and a couple of mates are planning a windsurfing road trip Late November early December and thought about WA. However the name Gerrora kept cropping up and as time and logistics count against WA, your beautiful coast seems like an excellent alternative.
We range from strong intermediate to something below advanced. We thought about camping or cabins.
So……does Gerrora seem like a good base to camp at and explore the coast for waves and wind. And if no wind ….supping?

What an amazing source of information! I’m from Melbourne and mostly sail slalom. Will be in Sydney from May till Feb 23.will bring wave gear but which of my slalom gear should I bring for that period.
